Live Edge Slabs

I specialize in milling and drying live edge slabs. I typically stock black walnut, cherry, various maples, and cedar. Other species I have at times include red and white oak, catalpa, white pine, dawn redwood, and butternut. These slabs are typically milled to a thickness of 1.5 - 2.25”, depending on width. This leaves room for planing and sanding the finished product.

Dimensional Lumber

I mill and stock dimensional lumber at times, but can always mill to a customer’s own specs based on my log inventory.

Kiln Drying

I operate a solar kiln between the months of April and October, and contract additional conventional kilns over the winter months. Every load that comes out of the kiln is monitored using a pinless moisture meter to ensure a quality product.
